 By an agreement M.P. State Govt.
transferred the College from the Onkar Charity Trust to the Devi
Ahilya University Indore. Thus on 11-08-2003 the College become
a Constituent College of Devi Ahilya University, Indore. Now
Devi Ahilya University is the managing body of the College.
The College was sanctioned Grant in aid by the State Govt. in
1986 for the Faculty of Arts only, Commerce faculty was
introduced in 1991-92. The College started PG Classes in 1989 in
Sociology and History.
College got Permanent affiliation in 1993 of Devi Ahilya
University, Indore. In March 1993 College got approval of
Section 12F and 12B of the UGC Act.
The College has received grants from the UGC under the VII, IX,
X and XI Plan
